AN INVESTIGATION is under way into the disappearance of a Ministry of Defence computer hard disk drive missing from an office in Hook.
It is thought the drive, which was being stored by EDS, the MoD's main IT contractor, based in Bartley Way, could contain the details of 100,000 military personnel, as well as 600,000 potential recruits.
MoD police are investigating the drive's whereabouts, but it is not yet known whether or not it has been stolen.

It could be anywhere by now. Heads should roll, but they don't.
One day information like this will fall into the wrong hands, and we'll all run around wondering how it happened.
