THE 27 CCTV cameras at Harrow bus station in College Road, officially go live tomorrow (Friday).
At 11am, the microwave link between the cameras and the control room at the Civic Centre will be switched on allowing security staff to monitor one of the borough's biggest crime hotspots.
The scheme attracted a grant of £373,600 from the Home Office and £5,000 from the town centre forum, with London Buses contributing £5,000 a year to running costs.
