AN INVESTIGATION on has been launched after reports of four fires in Tadley.
Firefighters from Tadley and Kingsclere stations were called to a fire in the open off Bishopswood Lane yesterday (April 20) afternoon.
When crews arrived on the scene there were four separate fires, all of which are believed to have been deliberately set.
Two hose reels and beaters were used to extinguish the blazes.
Hampshire Constabulary has now launched an investigation into the cause of the fires and are appealing to anyone with any information to come forward.
In a tweet from Kingsclere fire station it read: “Acts like these tie up valuable resources, and have the potential to cause us not to be able to attend life-threatening situations elsewhere.”
If anyone has any information which could aid the investigation they are asked to call 101 and quote 44190136502
