THREE pupils have wheely helped their school to achieve its fundraising target.
Bramley Church of England Primary School has spent the last year fundraising for a new school minibus and now, thanks to the efforts of Luke Onslow, Joe Osborne and Loui Armstrong-Brown, the school has reached its target.
The trio decided to organise, fundraise and participate in an Olympic distance triathlon.
Each student had to run 5k, cycle 15k and swim 500m and they managed to raised more than £1,200 through sponsorship and running a tombola stall at the school fete to go towards the new mini bus.
The efforts of the three boys were even more impressive given that they will not personally benefit from the minibus as they have now left the Bramley Lane school to start secondary school.
