IT has been another successful year for sixth form students at Sherfield School.
The boarding school, based in South Drive, Hook, saw some big successes in certain subjects at A-Level.
In both, psychology and German, 100 per cent of students achieved A*-A.
This was one of the main successes from the school, with 100 per cent of students being given an A*-C in PE, Spanish and further maths.
Christopher James-Roll, acting headmaster at Sherfield School, said: “There were a lot of happy pupils here this morning. I was told by one of the pupils who had left and come back that they were very happy they did. Another said to me that they were so happy with their results and that they had done better than they expected.
“We are delighted with the results, especially considering it is the second year of reformed A Level examinations with a reduction in the amount of coursework and pupils taking examinations at the end of the two year course. The national figures are down compared to last year, so our results are even more pleasing.”
Notably, two students will be moving abroad to continue their studies in America. One student will be going to Chicago to study engineering, and the other will be going to a prestigious university in California to study art and design.
