WITH a week until the likes of Paloma Faith, Razorlight and Clean Bandit descend on Laverstoke Park Farm, one more big-name act has been revealed.

Known for his hit single Hold Back The River, singer / song writer James Bay is the latest name to join this year’s CarFest South.

Bay will be playing the main stage of the bank holiday festival on the Sunday, sharing the stage with Clean Bandit, The Feeling and CarFest’s very own super group.

The Supergroup will be headed up by Kaiser Chiefs’ frontman Ricky Wilson and includes Beverley Knight, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Gary Kemp and The Feeling.

As well as the addition of James Bay, festival organisers are also welcoming rock band Reef after their headline performance at this year’s B Love festival and rocking the stage at CarFest north.

Reef will be on the main stage on Saturday.

Each year the festival supports Children in Need and to date has raised more than £10.5 million for the children’s charity.

The three-day event running from August 24 – August 26 is almost sold out with very limited tickets remaining.
