A MAN who damaged a window of a fast food shop, after failing to pay court fines, has been handed a suspended sentence.
Lee Asseter, of Nepual Road, Tidworth, smashed the window of Chickoland, in London Street, on June 4.
On Tuesday, July 31, at Basingstoke Magistrates Court the 31-year-old admitted to his crime.
He was ordered to compensate the outlet £630 and told to pay £40 court costs.
Asseter was also before magistrates after he had failed to pay a fine of £1,235 imposed on November 18, 2015.
In sentencing, magistrates handed him a 31 days suspended sentence and ordered him to pay £10 a week to clear the debt.
