BLUEBIRD Care Hook and Kingsclere has hosted a double session of its monthly Craft and Cuppa due to popular demand.

The first session took place in February, and since then, it has become so popular that Bluebird Care decided to host a double session on July 25.

The scheme is for customers who live in and around the Kingsclere area to help combat loneliness amongst older people.

Kim Teagle, public relations manager at Bluebird Care Hook and Kingsclere, said: “Customers who attend have become firm friends. Everyone loves a good chat over a cup of tea and the craft sessions are an added bit of fun, giving everyone the opportunity to learn new skills and create lovely things.”

At the next session in August, Bluebird Care Hook and Kingsclere will be celebrating the 80th birthday of a regular customer who attends Craft and Cuppa.
