POLICE have charged a man following a spate of thefts from vehicles around Basingstoke.
Ricky James, 38, of no fixed abode, has been charged with 20 offences relating to 13 incidents, which took place between July and August, predominantly in the north of the town.
The 38-year-old has been charged with 12 counts of theft from motor vehicles, six counts of fraud, one count of theft of a motor vehicle and one count of dwelling burglary.
Investigations are still ongoing, with James being remanded in custody and is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on September 5.
