FIREFIGHTERS in Odiham, as well as the rest of the county, have been busier than usual over the past few weeks as the heat has led to dry conditions.
At around 7am on Friday, 27 July, firefighters were called to reports of an abandoned vehicle that was seen to be on fire.
The vehicle, which was found in Long Lane, Odiham, was completely destroyed by fire when the fire service arrived.
One hose reel was used to put out the fire.
@Odiham10 tweeted: “Abandoned car 100 per cent by fire, one hose reel used.
“Luckily it wasn’t in the middle of the field or it could’ve been a much bigger job.”
