CREWS have been dealing with a huge fire at field in Manydown this afternoon (Sunday).
Firefighters were called to the scene in Roman Road at about 3.45pm to reports that a large amount of rapeseed was alight.
A spokesman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said that the fire was 400 metres by 100 metres wide.
Four fire engines, two Land Rovers and one water carrier controlled the blaze for more than a hour.
Firefighters are now working on dampening down the fire.
