WORK is underway on a the refurbishment and extension of a dining hall and kitchen at a school.
Construction has started on the £3.5m project at Lord Wandsworth College in Hook.
The new facility will benefit both pupils and teaching staff, who will be able to enjoy their meals within the refurbished contemporary dining areas and glass walled extension overlooking a converted courtyard seating area for alfresco dining.
The scheme is being completed by Fareham-based Amiri Construction and the project is due to be finished by November 2018.
Members of the Amiri team are no strangers to the campus as in 2003 they completed the construction of a £625,000 new music and drama block followed by a £1.6m inspirational teaching and learning space in 2011.
