A GROUP of runners are set to run 3.7 miles in memory of Matt Campbell tonight.

Matt, a 29-year-old chef, died after collapsing at the 22.5mile mark in Sunday's London Marathon.

Since then, a national campaign - Finish for Matt - has been launched in which people will run 3.7miles, to 'complete' Matt's London Marathon.

A group of runners from Chineham Park Running Club will be running the 3.7 miles for Matt tonight (Friday) at 6pm, starting at the Chineham Arms.

The club is inviting anyone to attend and take part in the run for Matt.

#LetsRunForMatt has been trending on Twitter, with thousands joining a Finish For Matt Facebook group.

The one-time MasterChef contestant was running the London Marathon for The Brathay Trust in memory of his father, Martin, who died in the summer of 2016.

Donations to Matt's JustGiving page have now surpassed £170,000 since his death.
