A WARNING has been issued by police after a spate of vehicle break-ins on Sunday and Monday in Brighton Hill.
During the early hours of April 22 and 23 several vehicles were broken into in Cyprus Road, Mozart Close and Gershwin Road with one work van having its lock broken while another work van and a car had their windows smashed for the thief to get inside.
Tools and audio equipment were stolen from one vehicle.
Police advice includes to park vehicles in a secure area or within easy view of homes, remove items from vehicles overnight if possible, apply a security marking product to power tools and equipment and log your property at immobilise.com.
Other advice includes considering installing secure storage containers or lockers in vans to store tools in and physically check vehicle doors and windows are looked if a remote is used to lock the vehicle.
