POLICE have named the man who died following a crash in Hartley Wintney.
Jakirul Jakir, 21, of Albert Street, Fleet, was driving a grey Fiat Bravo which collided with a tree on Pale Road, at 9.15pm on Thursday, 5 April.
The grey Fiat Bravo was reported to leave the carriageway and collided with a tree.
Officers closed the road for several hours whilst carrying out their investigation to determine the circumstances of the crash.
Mr Jakir’s next of kin are being supported by specialist officers.
Investigations into the collision are still ongoing and with officers appealing for witnesses or to hear from anyone who was driving along that road that night, particularly anyone with dash cam footage.
