Sales assistant threatened with a hammer and demanded to hand over cash
A MANÂ threatened a sales assistant with a hammer demanding money during a burglary in South View.
Police are investigating the incident where a man entered South View Stores, in Vyne Road, making demands for cash.
The incident took place at 10.25am on Tuesday, 16 January, with the man taking a cash box from the shop.
Police are looking for a man described as white, about 25-years-old, of slim build and wearing a dark-coloured hoody, light grey tracksuit and dark-coloured shoes.
