DECEMBER was a month full of celebration at Cranbourne Business and Enterprise College with two large events designed to celebrate “Excellence In Everything”.
On December 13, students in Years 7-11 were invited to attend Cranbourne’s first reward evening of the term, where students were recognised for excellent effort, attitude or academic attainment.
One of the stand out students was Ethan Trowbridge who received a remarkable five rewards for his efforts in English language, geography, photography, the school’s Japanese club and in SLT.
As well as the reward evening, students from the class of 2017 were welcomed back for the school’s annual awards evening.
The guest speaker for the night was Chris Thomson an ex-Cranbourne student who was part of the original cohort who started when the school opened in 1967.
He gave students an inspiring and humorous talk with poetry recited in Italian.
Students from Fort Hill Community School were also welcomed for an emotional evening, with its last presentation evening.
There was an large turnout with many staff members past and present in attendance along with students from the class of 2017.
