BASINGSTOKE and Deane mayor Councillor Paul Frankum gave the Whitchurch Neighbourhood Plan has given his seal of approval at a special reception.
The mayor met Whitchurch representatives at the event to congratulate them on their dedication in engaging the community in shaping the future development of the town.
The plan now forms part of the borough council’s development plan for the parish and will be used when considering planning applications.
Cllr Frankum said: “My congratulations to everybody in Whitchurch who has been involved in the process to bring this neighbourhood plan to fruition.”
