A PUPPY barely three-months-old has been stolen from a home in a burglary in which two guns were also taken.
Buzz, the 12-week-old springer spaniel puppy, was stolen from a home in Aldermaston Road, Sherborne St John, between 3.15pm and 4.35pm on Thursday, 9 November.
Two guns - a Beretta Silver Pigeon shotgun and a CZ 452 .22 rifle - were also taken after the burglar, or burglars, forced their way into the home.
PC Stephen Jakes, from the Basingstoke Police Investigation Centre, said: “This is a particularly rare set of circumstances and we would like to hear from anyone who has any information about what happened.
“It took place during the day, and it is likely that someone saw something that will help us in our investigation.
“Were you in the Sherborne St John area at this time? Did you notice anything suspicious? Or do you think you have seen the puppy, or been offered him for sale?”
Anyone with information should call PC Jakes on 101, quoting the crime reference 44170437234.
Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
