TWO women, including a 70-year-old, were attacked and robbed in a late night assault in Brighton Hill.
Between 11pm and 11.30pm on Wednesday, 8 November, two women, aged 35 and 70, were walking away from the Brighton Hill Community Centre when they were set upon by two men wearing dark clothing.
A handbag, containing a purse and £40, was stolen and the two attackers ran off in the direction of Quilter Road.
Both women sustained minor facial injuries.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery. He has been released from custody but remains under investigation.
