SHOPS in Festival Place have been honoured at the FP Gold Retailer Awards.
On Sunday 15 October, Las Iguanas hosted the second staging of the FP Gold Retailers Awards which celebrate the successes of retailers in the shopping centre throughout the year.
The awards were voted for by Festival Place customers who chose shops, bars and restaurants for various awards, including Store of the year and the Service with a Smile Award, both won by independent retailer Hair Lab.
Speaking about the awards, centre director at Festival Place, Steven Connolly, said: “This year has been another great year for the retailers at Festival Place and we have really enjoyed honouring them again at this year’s awards.
“We saw many retailers winning awards for the second year running so the challenge is now on to see if they can get the hattrick next year. We’d especially like to congratulate Hair Lab for their joint win of Store of the Year and the Service with a Smile Award.”
Chigz Hirani from Hair Lab was delighted with the results and said: “The whole team here at Hair Lab has worked tirelessly this year to make sure that we are providing the best possible service for our customers.
“We’re delighted that the hard work has paid off and were extremely happy to be recognised for two of the most prestigious awards – we had a wonderful evening.”
Overall, 12 awards were presented on the evening with prizes for the winners and runners up in each category.
