CCTV images have been released of two men who police wish to talk to in connection to an incident where £400 was stolen from an elderly man.
The incident took place between 2.30pm and 3pm on Friday, 13 October, when the 88-year-old victim was approached outside his home address in the Popley area by two men who took his bank card from him and used it to withdraw the cash from a nearby cash point.
The men then returned and asked the man for another bank card, claiming they could not withdraw any money from the initial card.
They were then disrupted by a member of the public before getting into a van and driving off.
Officers would like to identify the two men in the CCTV images to speak to them as part of the investigation.
If anyone recognises these men, they are asked to contact police on 101, quoting 44170397980, or call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
