UPDATE: Margaret was found safe and well in Leeds by West Yorkshire Police after she made phone contact with her family. An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of abduction.
SURREY Police are appealing to the public to help locate missing 15-year-old Margaret Moloney, who could be in the Basingstoke area.
The 15-year-old was last seen in the early hours of Wednesday, 20 September in Godalming by her family, who are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
She is described as white, with long blonde hair, blue eyes, is 5ft 5ins tall and of a slim build.
She was last seen wearing a navy blue hooded rain coat, dark bottoms and white trainers.
On Wednesday, she travelled to Basingstoke from Woking by train so it is suspected she is in the Basingstoke area.
Margaret is not thought to be carrying a phone but is urged to get in contact with the police or the Missing People charity on 116000.
Anyone who sees Margaret is asked to call Surrey Police on 101 quoting 45170103539.
Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
