32 year-old woman pronounced dead at the scene
A 32-year-old woman who was found seriously injured on the A33 near Chineham was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers were called to the A33 shortly after 10.30pm alongside with colleagues from the South Central Ambulance Service, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Road closures were put in place on the Northbound Lillymill Chine on the junction of the A33 and Great Binfields Road, on the junction of the A33 near Chineham library last night.
Her next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by police officers, the death is not being treated as suspicious.
The road closure has since reopened.
