THE annual Sherfield show took place over the weekend and was a huge success with residents.

The event took place on Sunday, September 3 in Sherfield on Loddon Village Hall and marked the 51st year it had taken place.

As per tradition, awards and trophies were handed out at the Sherfield Show, ranging from the trophy for the heaviest onion to Best Allotment trophy.

Everyone was welcomed to the hall by Natalie Larner, Show Secretary, who said she was “pleased with the number entries and that, as ever, the standard was very high”.

Natalie also presented the winners of the various competitions with their trophies, as a thank you for making the Sherfield Show as successful as it was.

The Sherfield show was a great way to showcase everything that is great about the village and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
