THESE are some of the criminals from Basingstoke recently appearing in court.

PAUL Whitmarsh, 54, of Bere Hill, Whitchruch. Pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle, namely a Ford Transit, on the A34, whilst exceeding the maximum weight allowed for that road of 3500kg, on February 27, 2017. Fined £420.47 and ordered to pay £42 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

JAMES Ian Christopher, 31, of Whitgift Close, Beggarwood. Pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle, namely a Honda Civic, which had tyres below the 1.6mm legal requirement on January 22, 2017. Fined £440 and ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

BRIAN Leonard Scott, 51, of Paices Hill, Aldermaston. Pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle, namely a Saab, without the proper insurance policy on January 15, 2017. Fined £660 and ordered to pay £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points. Also pleaded guilty to driving in Aldermaston Road, without the correct licence on the same date. Fined £220.

SANDY Fenton-Leth, 44, of no fixed abode. Pleaded guilty to stealing a bottle of vodka to the value of £30 from Asda, in Brighton Hill on November 29, 2016. Ordered to pay £30 in compensation and £15 costs. Also pleaded guilty to stealing a number of DVD’s from Asda, in Brighton Hill to the value of £131. No further charge made.

SHANE Robert Webb, 33, of Oakridge Road, Oakridge. Pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol to the value of £177 from Sainsbury’s on March 2, 2017. Ordered to pay £177 compensation. Also pleaded guilty to stealing a satnav belonging to another person on January 17, 2017. Fined £40.

EZRA Louis Armani Puddy, 18, of Kingsclere Road, South View. Pleaded guilty to intentionally exposing his genitals whilst in public on June 16, 2017. Sentenced to 14 weeks in jail, suspended for two years and ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

LEWIS Frederick Greenhalf, 23, of Eastrop Way, Eastrop. Pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle in Alencon Link whilst under the influence of alcohol on June 9, 2017. Fined £120 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £15 costs. Disqualified from driving for a year and two months.

SCOTT Edward Minton, 39, of Blunt Road, Beggarwood. Pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle, namely a Yamaha motorcycle on the A340, whilst under the influence of alcohol on June 11, 2017. Fined £800 and ordered to pay £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for one year and five months.

WARREN Michael Hall, 25, of Carmichael Way, Brighton Hill. Pleaded guilty to being in possession of a class B drug, namely cannabis, on June 14, 2017. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

MARCUS James Riley, 34, of Sinclair Drive, Brookvale. Pleaded guilty to being in possession of a class B drug, namely cannabis, on April 25, 2017. Fined £153 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

ADAM James Weller, 28, of St Peter’s Road, South Ham. Pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle, namely a BMW, in St Peter’s Road, South Ham while disqualified from holding a driver’s licence on May 31, 2017. Community order made and disqualified from driving for nine months. Also pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle without the correct insurance policy on the same date. Fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
