Body found near football club
A MAN’S body was found near Basingstoke Football Club in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Officers were called to Western Way, South Ham at around 5am on June 10, when a body was discovered near the Camrose Stadium.
South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance to the scene, but the man was confirmed as dead by paramedics on arrival.
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
