FIRE crews are currently dealing with a house fire in Worting Road.

More than 25 firefighters are currently at the three-story terraced house in an attempt to get the flames under control.

Emergency services were called at 9.53am, and the road is currently closed in both directions at the junction with Penrith Road, on Blackfield Road and at the parade of shops.

It is believed that the well-developed fire has spread across the first and second floors of the house.

Police and paramedics are also at the scene, the incident on-gonig.
