A SEARCH has was launched for a man who disappeared after going for a morning run.

Mark Baldwin, 45, left home on Sunday morning but has not yet returned home, and friends and family are growing increasingly concerned.

Police say he may have suffered a medical episode and a specialist search team is looking for him, along with the National Police Air Service helicopter.

He is described as being white, about five feet nine inches tall, and of medium build with very short blonde hair and blue eyes.

Mark was last seen wearing black running trousers with a little bit of blue on, along with a black jacket and blue trainers.

He left home in Kenilworth Road, Fleet at about 10.30am on Sunday, May 14, but has not been seen since.

He usually goes for a run at Fleet Pond, Basingstoke Canal, or Velmead Woods.

Sergeant Matt Sard said: “We appreciate the overwhelming support we have received from members of the public, and we know that people have expressed an interest in helping with the search.

“However, too many people in the area may impede our search efforts and in particular cause a difficulty for the search helicopter.

Anyone who knows where Mark is or has any information is asked to call police on 101 or the emergency 999 number if appropriate.
