POLICE have warned about a "spate" of burglaries in villages around Basingstoke.
Officers have reported a number of non-residential break-ins in the last two days, the majority of which took place in the Oakley area.
The first of these took place in Rectory Road.
Another is said to have taken place in Newfound.
Officers say sheds were accessed and garden type implements, including a lawnmower and petrol can, were stolen from inside.
Police have also reported to another two "unconfirmed" burglaries in the same area.
Another burglary is also said to have taken place in Steventon.
Offenders broke into a barn and stole a CCTV hard drive.
Anyone with information should call Hampshire Constabulary on 101.
