The BIG broadcast crew
HOSPITAL Radio Basingstoke will be supporting UK hospital radio’s ‘BIG Broadcast’ this weekend.
The team at Hospital Radio Basingstoke will be teaming up with more than 30 other stations this weekend to celebrate the work of radio broadcasting with a 48-hour long broadcast.
It will go on-air at 6pm on Saturday, April 29 and continue without interruption until 6pm on Bank Holiday Monday, May 1. It will also be available online.
As well as at Hospital Radio Basingstoke, the live programme will be heard by patients as far afield as Cornwall and the north of Scotland.
Neil Ogden, a presenter at Hospital Radio Basingstoke, said: “We’re delighted to be involved in The BIG Broadcast.”
