POLICE are appealing for information after a robbery in Farnborough.

At around 9:30pm on Saturday March 11, the 20-year-old male victim was walking in Cheyne Way and was about to cross the bridge. He was then approached from behind by a man who stole his mobile phone.

The offender then ran off into an alleyway behind two houses that leads to Cheyne Way.

Police would like to speak to a man described as: white, approximately 5ft 10ins, with a bald head and wearing dark rectangular glasses. He spoke with a local accent.

PC Daniel Lewis, said: β€œI am appealing for anyone with any information about this incident to come forward and speak to us.

β€œIt is possible that someone saw or heard what happened, or saw the offender in the area. I would urge anyone with information to get in touch.”
