A MAN in his early 30s was taken to Southampton General with serious injuries to the arm following an incident in Basingstoke town centre.
Emergency services were called to the incident outside the Londis store near Crown Heights, in Alencon Link at 7.24pm last night (March 8).
South Central Ambulance Service sent a response vehicle, an officer, an ambulance and the air ambulance car to the scene.
The male, was taken to the major trauma unit at Southampton General by road with a serious arm injury.
As previously reported by The Gazette an eyewitness said there were more than 10 police vehicles at the scene last night.
