A FAIR trade fortnight was kicked off in style in Winchester.
The first week of the Fair Trade Fortnight in Winchester was marked by several events including pancakes at United Church in Jewry Street, while students at Winchester University got involved by organising a fashion show.
The events raise awareness of fair trade issues in the world.
There were also a number of 'Big Brews' which support the work of Traidcraft, in fighting poverty in the developing world through trade.
One of the 'Big Brew' events was supported by Winchester MP Steve Brine.
