Man taken to hospital with head and hand njuries follow assault
A MAN was taken to hospital with head and hand injuries after being assaulted.
A 53-year-old man was walking between Dryden Close and Shakespeare Road, Popley around 6.30pm on Saturday, February 18 when he was attacked by another man.
Having suffered a minor injury to his head and another to his hand he was taken to Basingstoke hospital for treatment.
Officers are investigating the incident and would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time who may have witnessed what happened or saw anyone acting suspiciously.
