A BASINGSTOKE man hanged himself last month after suffering with anxiety issues, an inquest heard.
Joseph Michael Miller, 34, was found hanging from a tree in a field near Old Basing on December 1.
A dog walker found Mr Miller’s body and called police.
The trainee accountant had been privately suffering with anxiety issues for years.
Brother-in-law Mr Picking said: “He was surrounded by good people who would have helped him, but he would not let anyone in.”
A toxicology report found there was no trace of alcohol or drugs in his body at the time of death. North East Hampshire coroner Mr Andrew Bradley said: “His mind was not influenced in any way.”
Delivering a suicide verdict, Mr Bradley said: “It was a real shame that he did not seek help.”
