TWO teenagers have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a man at Basingstoke bus station.
Police were called to the station in Churchill Way at 12.07pm yesterday afternoon, having received reports of an assault on a 22-year-old man.
The man was stabbed in the upper back, between the shoulder blades, by a short bladed implement and taken to Basingstoke hospital with serious injuries but was later discharged.
Jordan Way, of no fixed abode, has been charged with wounding with intent and threatening a person with a blade/sharply pointed article in a public place.
The 18-year-old today appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court and has been remanded to appear at Winchester Crown Court on January 4, 2017.
A second teenager, a 17-year-old boy from Andover has also been charged with wounding with intent.
He is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on January 3, 2017.
