A MOTORCYCLIST from Tadley died in a car crash in Streatley yesterday (Sunday October 23).

The 52-year-old was involved in the crash in Wallingford Road between a white Suzuki motorcycle and a Silver BMW 330 estate.

Police were called to the scene at around 2.43pm and are now appealing for witnesses to come forward with information.

The motorcyclist’s next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the BMW suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

Senior investigating officer, PC Gareth Miles of Roads Policing unit, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen a Suzuki motorcycle travelling towards Streatley or a silver BMW 330 estate travelling towards Wallingford before the collision to contact police.

“If you witnessed the collision or have any information please contact police via the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101 quoting URN 755 of 23/10.

“If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
