POLICE have released an image of a masked man they want to speak to in connection with a burglary in Baughurst.
Three people gained access to a storage unit at the Bewley Homes site in Brimpton Road between midnight and 3.30am on Tuesday.
However, they left the unit, which was at the rear of the site, empty handed.
Officers are hoping that residents will be able to identify the person in the image from the clothes they were wearing at the time.
PC Colin Jackson from Basingstoke Police Station said: “We would like to speak to the person pictured in connection with the incident - you may recognise them from their clothing.
“Residents should be vigilant at all times in rural areas and call us if they see any suspicious vehicles, people or activities.”
If anyone has any information on the incident they are urged to call police on 101 quoting 44160383810.
