VANDALS have caused significant damage to the club house of a junior football team.

Police had two reported incidents of criminal damage at the club house on the green in Sherfield-on-Loddon, which is home to Loddon Sports Junior Football Club.

The first incident reported that vandals had damaged two fence panels and the guttering of the facility, and the most recent act of vandalism took place between October 3 and October 9, when the wooden stairway along the side of the building was significantly damaged.

One of the support posts for the stairway had been removed and then thrown onto the roof.

PCSO Nathaniel Johnson said: “If you are walking you dog by this building then please be aware of these incidents and if you see anything suspicious then please call us.”

If you saw any of these incidents or have any information call the police on 101 quoting 44160382936.
