THREE vans have been broken into in Hartley Wintney in the past five days.

Police are urging residents near the Mitchell Avenue/Sandy Lane area of Hartley Wintney to be cautious after several tools were stolen from parked vans.

The first incident took place between September 10 at 10:15am and 7pm on September 13 in the Sandy Lane Area. Its police reference is 44160346137.

The second incident took place between September 11 at 1pm and 10:30am on September 12 in the St Mary's Road car park. Its police reference is 44160344174.

The final incident took place between September 11 at 4pm and 9am on September 12 in Clayton Road car park. Its police reference is 44160343720.

Police have stated there has been a recent spate of incidents in this area involving theft of tools and equipment from unattended vans, particularly targeting vehicles belonging to tradesmen who regularly use power tools.
