FIREFIGHTERS have been tackling a blaze at a field in Tadley this afternoon.
The incident, which resulted in a piece of farming equipment catching on fire, is thought to be responsible for the huge clouds of thick smoke which could be seen across the Basingstoke skyline this evening.
Crews from Tadley and Basingstoke were called to the incident at 4pm, along with an animal rescue advisor.
No one was injured in the fire.
