Man charged with historic sex offences
A MAN has been charged with eight counts of sexual offences against children in Basingstoke in the late 1980s.
Daniel William Thomas, of Lovetot Avenue, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court yesterday via videolink.
The 44-year-old has been charged with eight counts of non-recent criminal acts involving two boys and a girl under the age of 13.
Mr Thomas is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on August 24.
