THE Basingstoke Buffalo who provide a vital link in developing players from the junior Bison programme to the league winning Basingstoke Bison are looking for sponsorship.

The side gives the town’s young stars their first taste of senior ice hockey and Bison players like Daniel Lackey, Stuart Mogg and Ryan Sutton all used this route into the Herd.

With the excellent crop of young players coming through the system, the Buffalo are keen to keep up the good work of the coaching staff.

The Buffalo who were in the title shake-up for most of last season, have enjoyed a fair amount of success of the years including being crowned national champions.

The team also play an important part in the community and during the summer organised a fund raising game for three local cancer charities which raised £13,500 in one evening.

Anyone who can help the Buffalo, however big or small should contact their team manager Andrew Worship on 07881 678812 or by email andrew.worship@btinternet.com.
