A MAN has been handed a suspended prison sentence after he was caught with Class A drugs in Basingstoke.
Vittorio Arian Khaleghi-Tafrishi was found in possession of 1,750mg of diamorphine on January 1 this year, and pleaded guilty to intent to supply the drug.
The 27-year-old, of Weirdale Avenue, Whetstone, London, appeared at Winchester Crown Court on Friday, May 20 when he was sentenced to 24 months in prison, suspended for 18 months.
He was also given a drug rehabilitation requirement and ordered to pay £100 victim surcharge and £600 costs.
