FAMOUS names of the cricketing world will grace the picturesque Odiham and Greywell Cricket Club’s ground on Friday June 17, when the Lashings team full of former Test stars visit.

The day will also feature a VIP lunch and commentary from the BBC voice of cricket Henry Blofeld.

Odiham will take on the Lashings in a special T25 game which will start at 3pm.

The visiting team is likely to feature South African great Herschelle Gibbs with over 6,000 Test runs and the brilliant former West Indies and Hampshire opening bat Gordon Greenidge.

England players set to grace the game will be Andy Caddick, Alex Tudor and Nick Compton.

‘Blowers’ of Test match special fame with over 40 years of broadcasting, will commentate on an innings also host the VIP luncheon tables, where the star players will join guests’ tables as well.

Event organiser Bruce Applin reports that some VIP tables of 10 are still available to include a three-course lunch, wines and after-match tea.
