ITEMS valuing more than £15,000 were stolen from an Argos store in Basingstoke yesterday morning.
Thieves gained access to the store in the Hatch Warren retail park via the roof, before taking jewellery and other display items.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident which took place between midnight and 4.30am on Tuesday.
Detective Constable Jonathan Swift said: “We believe the suspects may have travelled in two vehicles which were waiting nearby during the burglary.
“We also believe that they took a ladder to the scene, which had been carried on the roof of one of these vehicles to the scene.
“We would like to speak to anyone who saw these two vehicles in the area around the time of the offence or who saw a vehicle with a ladder tied to its roof.”
