Fireworks display to return to Silchester next month
THE Silchester Association will be holding a fireworks display next month.
The event will take place at Silchester House, in Holly Lane on November 7, with the fireworks display beginning at around 7pm. There will also be a bonfire and pumpkin carving competition.
Tickets purchased in advance are £7 per adult, £3.50 per child and a family ticket, which includes two adults and two children, is £18.
Volunteers are needed to collect wood and to cook a barbecue for this year’s event. Anyone interested in volunteering is asked to contact Chris Lee by email at christanzy@googlemail.com.
