Research family history at special event
A FAMILY history research event will take place in Basingstoke this Sunday.
Hampshire Genealogical Society is hosting a Family History Open Day at Everest Community Academy, in Oxford Way, Popley from 10am to 4pm.
Those attending can talk to specialists about their family history research, visit stands and listen to free talks.
Living historians and researchers, including Great War researcher David Whithorn, will be on hand to answer questions and show their original artefacts.
Entrance is free.
