FIREFIGHTERS spent over two hours tackling a fire in which four garden sheds were destroyed on Wednesday.
Crews from Basingstoke fire station were called to a property in Bounty Road, Basingstoke to reports of four sheds and a yurt on fire at around 3.39pm on Wednesday.
Watch manager John Amos, who is based at Basingstoke fire station, told The Gazette that there were barbeque gas cylinders in the sheds and when crews arrived on scene there were “a series of sheds completely on fire”.
The four garden sheds and the yurt were completely destroyed by the fire.
